Travel destination : Italy, Cinque Terre.

Italy, Cinque Terre.

So this is my first post :) I want to show you some of my pictures from my last travel in Italy, in august 2019. I stayed there for 1 week with my boyfriend.

So, if you like :

  • hiking

  • taking pictures,

  • swimming in the sea,

  • and walking through old villages,

the Cinque Terre is the perfect destination for you !

There's 5 difference villages in the Cinque Terre : Riomaggiore, Manarola, Monterosso, Corniglia, and Vernazza. What's funny is the fact that those villages are very different from one another. If Manarola is probably the most beautiful one, we fell in love with Riomaggiore. We had a location in the city of La Spezia during our trip. The flat was incredible and the host very kind. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

Riomaggiore is the first of the five villages. It's hidden between the trees and the sea. There's a lot of little church, and most of the people are staying in the principal avenue. If you go there, you have to hike, go walk in the town, and admire the view.

Furthermore, some articles where chipper in Riomaggiore. It's where we bought some memories for our family and friends.

There's no beach in this village, but you can easily access to the sea by the rocks.

Manarola was incredible, but there was a lot and a lot of tourists in this season (August 2019), so everyone was taking his own picture it was hard to fully enjoy the place.

It's also where you can start to hike to the next village : Corniglia. It's a walk of an hour and a half through the trees, the vines, and with an incredible access to the next village.

(At one moment, we even walk in the garden of a house, we where kind of surprised but we where still on the right path.) Here is some picture of us :

I would definitely recommend to go there in septembre, or may / june to avoid the touristic season. Furthermore some path where closed until 2021 due to some public works. Still it's an amazing part of Italia and of the Mediterranean sea. If you go in Europe one day, you definitely needs to go there.

Thank you for reading it! :)

Lots of love !

Apolline.
